Vacation Ideas: Relax at Beautiful Costa del Sol

There are many travelers who travel to Malaga focusing on the beaches leaving the interior aside and for that reason we bring you a route through the most beautiful villages of the Costa del Sol with which we hope you enjoy its beautiful streets, its whitewashed houses and its delicious cuisine.

Visiting the Costa del Sol and not going to Marbella is a crime. You could say that Marbella is the capital of the Costa del Sol. This Malaga town is famous nationally and perhaps because of the moves of its town hall and the coming and going of the international celebrity has become one of the most visited towns in the Costa del Sol attracted no longer by that marketing, positive or not that bounced back to the city but by the undeniable beauty of the historic center with its beautiful streets, small squares and whitewashed facades that both day and night are a delight travel.

Beaches of Costa del Sol

My advice is that you go through all its historic center and either for dinner or for lunch, you go down the promenade to the restaurant El Sombrero. A hallucination, you’ll see.

Puerto Banús is a kind of Miami Beach mixed with Rode Drive (Los Angeles), a coastal area, with a large yacht harbor, mixed with the most important sign shops in the world. You tie the boat at the door of Hermes or Dior to buy.

Even if you are not going to buy Dior, or come on a yacht, both the Maritime Promenade of Marbella and Puerto Banús are very nice and pleasant places to go for a walk. Very well prepared and with all the services that a good tourist may need: Bars, Shops, Hotels, etc. They are also very well-maintained, very beautiful, very Mediterranean areas.

From Nerja we will continue our way to another of the most spectacular towns of the Costa del Sol, the beautiful Mijas, with its spectacular viewpoints that like Frigiliana and Nerja will give us some of the most beautiful pictures of the Mediterranean between white houses and where is that you see below, San Sebastian Street, is one of the most photographed places on the Costa del Sol.

Our route through the towns of the Costa del Sol will continue to one of my favorite points: Casares. As you enter the town do not go down to the village, stop first in one of its upper parking areas, leave the car, walk 20 meters to one of its viewpoints and simply flip with one of the most beautiful postcards you can see of towns in Andalusia . And it tells you one who has kicked quite the whole of South Spain
