Tesla's Expected To Miss Model 3 Launch Dead Line
Tesla has been notorious with missing deadlines, and the the Model 3 is particularly notable because of its advance interest.
The California-based electric-vehicle maker reiterated in its investors note last week that Model 3 vehicles would start rolling off the production line as soon as July. Tesla said it would be producing 5,000 Model 3 vehicles a week by the end of the year and will double that pace to an annualized rate of more than a half-million Model 3 vehicles by the end of 2018. Critics however doubt this time table refering to telsa’s past.
Pininfarina and Hybrid Kinetic $68 million deal produces electric sedans
Italian design house Pininfarina and Hong Kong-based Hybrid Kinetic Group announced a $68 million deal to collaborate with to produce the H600 electric sedan set for reveal next week at the Geneva Motor Show.
Hybrid Kinetic currently develop electric motors and batteries as a supplier, as well as making its select electric buses. The new sedan will bring new market of alt-fuel luxury cars and is likely aimed at Tesla and other recent startups.
Bentley's Bentayga Mulliner
The two-tone scheme of the exterior is continued inside, with the front and rear seats upholstered in different colors of leather. In the Bentayga above, black leather covers the front seats while the rears are done in an ivory-colored hide. The seats all feature two colors of contrast stitching, as well. Even the wood veneers are finished in an exclusive dual tone. On the dash, the wood is completely black, but along the front doors, it fades to a natural finish that is continued on the rear doors.
This is a new option that will be introduced on the Bentayga Mulliner, but will trickle down to the rest of the lineup this April.
A New BMW M Models in Development Found in Leaked Codes
A 177-page document leaks, presumably from the Bavarian automaker. List model names and codes that could indicate what BMW is planning on releasing in the near future. Newer versions of the M2 and M4 are listed as the M2 Competition and the M4 CS.
